The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division, Major General Nuhu Angbazo has yet again reintroduced an age long tradition of soldiers and officers walking to office in order to keep fit, and promote healthy living in the Barrack.

The exercise known as ‘Tempo Day’ is said to be an age long tradition where no vehicular movement within the barracks and everyone is expected to walk to office and back from office. 3 Division was said to be the first among other Divisions to revitalize this age long tradition of rejuvenating regimentation in the Nigerian Army.

The Tempo Day took place on Wednesday 25 September 2019 at the Maxwell Khobe Cantonment where all officers and soldiers walked to their offices with the GOC leading in a 10 kilometer to and from offices. It was gathered that no vehicular movement to offices was allowed in the entire Barrack as the GOC insisted that personnel’s keeping fit is a must and must be obeyed.
