Gen. Attahiru’s Wife Wasn’t in Crashed Plane – Amb. Austin Peacemaker Debunks Social Media Rumour

Misinformation: Wrongly captured

ECOWAS Youth Ambassador and CEO of Security Affairs Ltd, Amb. Austin Peacemaker has debunked the rumour making the round that the wife of the late Chief of Army Staff, Gen Ibrahim Attahiru was also present in the crashed plane. He said he has it on good authority that the wife of the COAS was not one of the passengers in the crashed plane.

The Security Affairs analyst said journalists should always verify and be sure of their news before throwing them to the public. It will be sadly recalled that some respected media houses fell for the rumour in a bid to break the news first.

While sending his condolences to the Armed Forces of Nigeria under the leadership of the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Lucky Irabor Peacemaker prayed that God will continue to protect all those who sincerely serve the Nigerian people in harm’s way.

It will be recalled that the COAS Gen Attahiru’s plane was said to have crashed today 21 May 2021 in Kaduna around 6pm killing everyone on board including the COAS.
